How to transfer digital photos to a disc

The first step in this process is to transfer your photos from your camera to your hard disk. You can do this by using the cable and software that came with your camera, or by inserting the camera's memory card into your PC's memory card reader.

Once the photos are stored on your PC's hard disk, you then have to copy and burn them to a blank CD.

You can do this by using Windows' normal file copy operation, or by using a third-party program designed specifically for burning CDs. Some users prefer the third-party programs, such as Roxio Easy Media Creator or DVD Photo Slideshow, which are easier to use and have more features than found in Windows itself.
