Microsoft is distributing five different versions of Windows Vista -- each targeted at a slightly different market.
Home users can use either
Windows Vista Home Basic or the more fully-featured
Home Premium edition, either of which may also be distributed on new PCs.
Windows Vista Business is targeted at small business users, whereas Windows Vista Enterprise is designed for large corporations and organizations.
The final version, Windows Vista Ultimate, is a superset of all the best features of all the different editions, designed for power users in all environments.
Which version you use should depend on your specific needs -- and how much you want to pay.
